Ismael "JR" Garcia, Jr. age 51, of Seguin, passed away on June 20, 2016. A recitation of the rosary will be on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Friday June 24, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Ismael was born on December 25, 1964 in Corpus Christi, TX to Ismael Sr. and Ofelia (Gonzales) Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 29 ½ years, Debbie Garcia; children Monique MyCue and husband Ryan, Cierra Garcia, James Garcia and wife Alexis; grandson Easton MyCue; his parents Ismael Sr. and Ofelia Gonzales Garcia; sisters Cindy Serna, Sandra Amador and husband Jesse; brother Max Soliz and wife Melinda; brothers-in-law Harry Vaughn, Jr. and wife Judy, Robert Vaughn and wife Ruth, Richard Vaughn and wife Tomi; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Shaw, Ruby Updyke, Sandra Vaughn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members. Serving as pallbearers will be James Garcia, Ryan MyCue, Joshua Lopez, Max Soliz, John Ruiz, Ricky Serna, James Johnson, Ron Clark, Richard Vaughn, Jr., and Jose Magana.
