Ismael P Herrera

Ismael Herrera, age 87, of Seguin, passed away on June 23, 2026. Ismael was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Rosalio Herrera and Maria del Refugio Perez Herrera. Ismael married Rosa Perez of Monterrey, Mexico on August 13th, 1974, in Brownsville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his son, Aurelio, his parents, and his siblings, Margarita, Lydia and Amelia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rosa P. Herrera, children, Benito, Maria, Luis, Mario, Ismael Jr., Francisco, Reyes, Noelia, Martha, Gloria and Chayo, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. A visitation and rosary service will be held Friday, June 26th, 2026 from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at the Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm.
