Israel "EZ" Arce Sr., age 47 of Seguin, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Israel was born on February 2, 1974 in Seguin.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Alex Arce Sr., grandmother, Adela H. Arce and step-father, Rick Brown. Survivors include his loving wife, Blanca Cortez, his son, Israel Nathaniel Arce Jr.; his parents, Molly and Larry Reyes; siblings, Aaron Brown, Ashley Brown, Traci Brown; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosa and Mario Soto; aunt and uncle, Maria and Miguel Nunez; sister-in-law, Marisela Soto and her son Izayah; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

EZ loved fishing and enjoyed those times among family and friends. He was such a clown, making everyone around him happy! He was a one of a kind man, loved by all who knew him. He brought laughter and joy to everyone's hearts. We all will miss him dearly.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by the private family recitation of the Holy Rosary with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date.  Face coverings are requested.
