Jack Bruce Howard, Jr., born in San Antonio, Texas on September 10, 1943 to Ensign Jack B. Howard, who was killed aboard the USS Strong in the South Pacific on July 4, 1943, and Kathryn "Kaki" Dial Howard Murray Guelder, has passed away on January 8, 2013 at the age of 69. He had been a resident of Kingsbury, Texas for over 35 years. Jack was also preceded in death by brother, Timothy GoodMurray. Jack's formal education began at Miss Mamie Dial's School for Little Children, followed by graduating from Alamo Heights High School and Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He was an early computer engineer, a talented artist, a rancher, and an enthusiastic archaeologist. Jack is survived by his
wife Patricia "Tommye" Brennan Howard, son Patrick Brennan Howard, grandchildren Evelyn Grace and James Preston, Uncle Judge Preston Dial, brother William Michael Murray, sister K. Laurens Murray, Much Loved Bruce Casas, Virginia Lopez, and Sabrina Lopez. Jack's wishes were to be cremated and have a private memorial service at a later date.
