Jacob Colby Niederhofer, age 22 of McKinney and League City, passed away on October 14, 2012. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Allen Davis and Gary Selman officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Colby was born on April 18, 1990 in Houston Texas to Charles W. (Chuck) Niederhofer and Donna Harborth Niederhofer Moody. He is preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents, Donald Harborth, Bobbie McCracken Perkins and Willard Niederhofer. Survivors include his father, Charles W. "Chuck" Niederhofer and his wife Stacey; best friend forever, Taylor Kaiser, brother, Caleb Niederhofer; step-father, Chris K. Moody; step-brothers, Miles Eckhoff and Cole Eckhoff; grandmother, June Harborth; aunt, Carla Harborth Holmes and husband Steve; uncle, Chet Niederhofer and wife Celeste; cousins, Joshua Holmes and wife Kimberly, and Katie Smith Holmes and husband Thomas and their sons, Tyler and Reece; numerous other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to any cancer charity of choice.
