Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Collins, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on July 22, 2014. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Bill Alex officiating. Interment will follow in Union Valley Cemetery. Jackie was born on May 7, 1930 in San Antonio, Texas to Raleigh N. Martin and Louise Haines Martin Gregory. She completed a successful banking career in both San Diego California and San Antonio, Texas before owning and operating the Key Motel in Seguin. Jackie loved her work and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Lionel Gregory and her sister, Margaret Gentry. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years Earl Ray Collins; daughter, Christie Collins Beutnagel and husband Bobby; son, Randal Collins and wife Theresa; grandson, Tyler C. Collins; sister-in-law, Ina Bess Krell; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Jackson, Roy Hernandez, John Lubbock, Paul Wiegel, Rick Scott and Louis Gross.
