James Sheppard Durden, age 68 of Seguin, formerly of Comfort, passed away on May 5, 2024.

James was born on September 12, 1955, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Alora Mae (Hahn) and Jerry Mirah Durden.  Raised in Comfort, he graduated from Comfort High School in 1974.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Chisom Durden.

Survivors include his life partner, Monica Wallace; son, Joshua "Josh" Durden and wife Kimberly; daughter, Kristin Isbell, and husband Joe; grandchildren, Seraphina Isbell, Landon Lamascus, and Lauren Lamascus; brothers, Donald Durden and wife Susan and Roger Durden and wife Pam; nephews, Jesse Durden and wife Meagan, Dakota Durden and Luke Durden; other loving family members and a host of friends.

Instead of formal funeral services, the family asks that you please share "James" stories.  For those who knew him every day with James was an adventure.
