James W. Kemp, Jr., age 28, of Seguin, passed away on March 20, 2017. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dave Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. James was born on August 11, 1988 in Seguin, Texas to James Wayne Kemp, Sr. and Tammy Renee Dirst Perkins. James was a 2006 graduate of Seguin High School. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kristeva Perkins and his grandmothers, Eloise Houlton and Luella Kemp. Survivors include his loving wife Rebekah Kemp; son, Trynt Kemp; mother, Tammy Perkins and husband Billy; father, James Kemp, Sr. and wife Sandra; sister, Jessyca Kemp brother, Robert Perkins; grandparents, Keith Dirst and wife Pat, James A. Kemp, and Eva and Eldon Waters; aunts and uncles, Susan Caddell and husband Jimmy, Brian Dirst and wife Debbie, Bubba Perkins and wife Andene, Wiley Perkins and wife Cindy, Ronny Perkins and wife Dawn, Hank Kemp, and Eileen Greenbon; father-in-law, David Young and wife Maureen; mother-in-law, Beth Cowan and husband David; numerous cousins, other loving family members, and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Caddell, Devin Dirst, Seth Dirst, Bradley Lindquist, Micheal Lindquist, and Chaun Pineda.
