James Duehl Seay, Jr., age 79 of Seguin, passed away on April 18, 2011. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 12 noon to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, April 21 at the Dugger Cemetery Pavillion at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. James was born on January 26, 1932 in Guadalupe County to James Duehl, Sr. and Willouise Nickell Seay. He graduated from Seguin High School in the summer of 1948. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. James retired from AT& T after 30 plus years of service. He was an active member of the Dugger Cemetery Association where he served as a trustee for 29 years. In retirement he enjoyed working in his yard and building bird houses. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bobby Jean Seay; sister, Ruth Herbold; aunt, Margie Rawlinson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
