James "Jimmy" David Turner, age 65 of Seguin entered eternal rest on February 9, 2025.

Jimmy was born on August 24, 1959 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He graduated from AC Jones High School in Beeville, Texas in 1978 where he was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for plants. Just like his mom, he had a green thumb.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father Kermit Turner. He is survived by his mother Helen Ross and stepfather Bruce Ross. Surviving siblings are Gregg Ross, wife Zoe and their children Gregg Jr, Zachary and Phillip; sister Amy Trost, husband Monty and their children Amber, Braeden and Landon; brother Mickey Ross and children Jade and Gia; stepbrother Mac, wife Laura and their children Sammie, Neko and Cormac. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Jimmy was always great with kids and especially loved and was proud of all his nieces and nephews.

Private services celebrating Jimmy's life will be held at a later date.
