Jan C. Gwinn "Jammy" Varns, age 66 of Seguin and former owner of Seguin Laser Art and Engraving, passed away on December 18, 2011. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. A reception will follow at the Weinert House in Seguin. Jan was born on January 27, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to Everett and Maxine McAlpine Gwinn. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving partner, Lonnie Zoboroski; son, Lon Varns and wife Karen; daughters, Debbie Tilton Leslie, Jacqui Tilton Moore and husband Tim, and Dawn Harpole and husband Jay; brothers Ted Gwinn and Alan Wernle and wife Susan; grandchildren, E. J., Willis, Ellie, Kailee, Jenna, Baylor, Max, Alex, Sam and Sidney; numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.
