Janice L. Davis, age 74 of Seguin, passed away on June 18, 2014. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. Janice was born on July 19, 1939 in Birmingham Alabama to Harold "Happy" and Mildred (Harris) Chapman. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Tommy Williams, daughter Karyl Browning, sisters, Karyn J. Chapman and Phylis Chapman and her brothers, Harold S. and Tommy D. Chapman. Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Clarence L. Davis; son, Tommy Williams and wife Joyce; grandson, Zachary Williams and wife Jessica; great-granddaughters, Abigail Williams and Annalise Williams; step-son, Stephen Davis; step-daughter, Lauri Ivey; step-grandsons, Stephen Baker, Jr., Bradley Baker, Andrew Ivey; step- great-granddaughter, Kylie Baker. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Davis, Stephen Baker, Jr., Bradley Baker, Andrew Ivey and Robert Cockrell. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
