Jane Bierstedt passed away December 15, 2025, at the age of 90 years old.

Jane was born on January 20, 1935, in Farwell, Texas to Hertha Alva Bode McQuatters and Otis Roy McQuatters.

Jane attended Seguin High School and enjoyed a 30 plus year career employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Sheron Ann Manning and her great grandson Klayton Manning.

She is survived and is lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Alton Bierstedt; son Aaron Bierstedt (Kimberly); grandchildren Brittany Wilkinson (Trent) Tiffany Bierstedt; Patricia Manning Yahya (Aly); Kenny Manning; and great-grandchildren; Kaeleb, Trinity, Rayan and Ayden. Great great-grandchild Sadie.

Additionally, Jane is survived by a sister Caroline Wernli (Ron) and niece Roxanne Wernli Brown (Tim) and two nephews Barrett and Reeve Brown. Jane is also remembered by many other family members and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingsbury Baptist Church on January 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Manuel Casso officiating.
