Jason Michael Schomer, age 30 of Seguin, passed away on October 16, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Hillcrest Assembly of God with Pastor Mike Rodriguez officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Jason was born on July 22, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas to Michael and Margie Schomer. He grew up in Poteet, Texas and moved to Seguin in 1998 at the age of sixteen. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugo and Lucille Schomer, and Melvin Easley. Survivors include his loving wife, Brandy Schomer; son, Nikolai Schomer; parents, Michael and Margie Schomer; brother, Bobby Chase Bailey and wife Emilie; grandmother, Cecilia Ann Easley; nieces, Madison and Paige Bailey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Jason will be remembered by all as a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He will be missed.
