Jean Eloise Wallace Albin of Seguin died peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the age of 90 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was preceded in death by her husband Grant Emerson Albin and brothers Richard Wallace and Edward Wallace. She is survived by her daughter Sue Anne Guenther and husband Matthew of Seguin; her granddaughter Sarah Ann Guenther of New Braunfels; her grandson Matt Emerson Guenther and wife Dianne and their children Leah Jean Guenther, Evan Matthew Guenther, and Carter Steele Guenther of Austin; and her grandson Benjamin Ross Guenther and wife Misti of Seguin. Jean was born on December 18, 1921 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She and Grant moved to Seguin in 1967 and made a home on Sue and Matthew's farm where they watched their grandchildren grow up. Jean enjoyed watching the birds and cows, reading, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed good conversation, Masterpiece Theatre, and any candy she could get her hands on. She was well loved and will be greatly missed. We love you, Gram. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin with Rev. Dr. Carl McCauley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
