Jeanne Reavis, age 89 of Seguin, formerly of McAllen and Kerrville, passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2024.  Jeanne was born on August 28, 1934 in McCook, Texas to Magdalena (Labus) and Izydor Gawlik.

Jeanne will be remembered working at McAllen State Bank from 1967 to 1988.  She loved collecting birds, painting, sewing and baking.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husbands, Rufus Maness and J. D. Reavis, her siblings, Ed, Sam and Jan Gawlik, and Tracy Martin, Trudy Powell, Sallie Keck, Lottie Wolfe, and Bernice Jeffreys.

Survivors include her children, Rhonda Mercer and husband Mike, Annette Welker, Mark Curry and wife Cindy, and Shari Shepard; sister, Alice Perry; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission Texas.
