Alice "Jeanne" Salmon of Seguin went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 89. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Mission Park North Cemetery, 20900 IH 10 West, San Antonio, Texas with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating.  Jeanne Salmon was born on January 29, 1929 in Mangum, OK to Olan H. and Avo Alice Eastham. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1948. She worked as a telephone operator in Amarillo until her marriage to Calvin Kenneth Salmon on September 4, 1948. Jeanne worked with Calvin at the Michna-Salmon Firestone Store until 1992. She volunteered at the Christian Cupboard of Seguin for 30 years and was involved in activities at First Baptist Church of Seguin. She enjoyed watching sports as well as playing cards and dominoes with friends.
Jeanne Salmon is survived by her children, Larry Salmon, Kathy Trammell, Ann Petrosky, and Glenn Salmon. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 grandson.
