Jeannie L. Connors Sammons, age 71 of McQueeney, passed away on June 7, 2017. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Jeannie was born on October 2, 1945 in Abilene Texas to George Michael and Tiny Myra (Funk) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Carol Solomon, and her former husband, Victor Connors. Survivors include her loving husband, Lawrence Gregory (Greg) Sammons; daughter, Julie Wagner and husband Mike; son, Sean Connors and wife Melinda; grandchildren, Taylor Wagner, Jordan Wagner, Jonathan Connors and wife Eugenia, Brittany Connors, Andie Connors Pool and husband Dalton Pool, and Garrett Moore; brother Michael Levan and sister Mary Moore; niece Stacy Blair and numerous other nieces and nephews, loving family members and many friends.
