Jeannine L. Greiner Schwartz, age 72, of Seguin passed away on May 26, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Jeannine was born on July 28, 1936 in Seguin, Texas to Rudolph Alfred and Frances Hortense Koch Greiner. She will be remembered as a long time educator and artist in our community. Her father precedes her in death as does her infant brother, Terrance Greiner and brother-in-law, Leroy Schwartz. Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, John Schwartz; sons, John Schwartz, III and wife, Debbie, Joel Schwartz and wife, Ruth, Tim Schwartz and wife, Kathy Towns, and David Schwartz and wife, Christina; mother, Hortense Greiner; brothers, Jerry Greiner and wife, Donna Dodgen and Charles Greiner and wife, Doris; grandchildren, John, IV, Julia, Jimmy, Rudy, Zoe, Zach, Andrew and Rowan; aunt, Mary Louise Tewes; brothers-in-law, Nolan Schwartz and wife, Marcy, and Leon Schwartz and wife, Florence; sister-in-law, Shirley Ashorn and husband, Melvin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Gordon Schwartz, Blake Schwartz, Mark Schwartz, Jason Ashorn, Gretchen Greiner Lott, and Jeffrey Greiner.
