Jesse A. Colvin, age 66 of Seguin, passed away on June 20, 2012. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 12 to 5 p.m. with family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Private interment will be held at a later date. Jesse was born on April 2, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Jesse L. and Beatrice Sanchez Colvin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He will be remembered as a truck driver for several large companies including SMI (CMC Steel). He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and antique muscle cars, as well as BBQ time with his family. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife, Rita Zaskoda Colvin; sons, Lenny Jonas and wife Brooke, Marty A. Colvin and wife Christine and Jesse James (Jay) Colvin and wife Heather; sister, Norma Titus and husband Darrin; sisters-in-law, Wanda Fisher and husband Dr. James Fisher, Kathryn Ferguson and husband Kim, Sharon Stowe and husband James; brother-in-law, John Zaskoda; 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
