Jesse M. Lopez Jr., age 72, of Alice, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2023. He was born in Alice, Texas on May 25, 1951, to Lily (Saenz) and Jesse Manuel Lopez, Sr.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, his 4 sisters, Gloria Trevino, Elva (Cookie) Chapa, Lily (Sweetie) Rios, and Cynthia (Honey) Hernandez, and his brothers, Joe Robert Lopez and Eugenio Lopez.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Gonzalez (Rolando), Velma (Joey) Gonzalez and Jesse Lopez III; siblings, Alicia (Bush) Molina, Gloria Buentello (Adolfo), Olga Serna and Paula Del Campo; grandchildren, Pamela, Krystal, Jaimee, Jaime, Rolando, and Michael; 15 great-grandchildren; friend Nelda Lopez; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.

Jesse worked for many years on rigs in the oil fields. He was a hard worker and had many friends. He liked to be the local jokester and he loved to sing. He was a BBQ master along with loving to fish. He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan through their good and bad years.
