Jimmy Joe Jefferies was called home to the Lord August 2, 2018. Born one of four sons, Jimmy was born to John L. Jefferies, Jr. and Glenna Brockman Jefferies on April 4, 1943 in Ohio. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John L. Jefferies, III and Russell L. Jefferies, nephews, Michael Jefferies and Scotty Jefferies, sister-in-law Elsie Jefferies, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Emily Hagemann and brother in law Alvin Hagemann and his wife Kay. Jimmy grew up on the South Side of San Antonio, attended South Side Schools and Graduated from New Braunfels high school in 1962. On July 28, 1963, Jimmy married the love of his life Doris Hagemann Jefferies and together raised two daughters Lisa and Gail on their beloved ranch, Windy Acres in Kingsbury. Jimmy was a 40 year member of the Kingsbury Volunteer Fire Department and also a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church. Jimmy is survived by his wife Doris; daughters, Lisa Tieken and husband Rick, and Gail Younger and husband Allan. grandchildren, Kelsey Tieken, Travis Tieken and wife Katie, Kasey Tieken, Ryan Tieken, and Michael Younger; great grandson, Easton Tieken; brother, Ronald Jefferies, Sr.; nephew Ronald Jefferies, Jr. and his daughters, Megan, Lauren and Kelli; niece, Janet Kelly and husband Rob; nephew, Mark Jefferies; niece, Misty Jefferies; special family friends, Tyler Adams, Blaine Moczygemba, and Freddy and Karen Stautzenberger and their daughters Jodi Watts, Michelle Wheland and their families. At Jimmy's request no funeral will be held and his ashes will be scattered at Windy Acres Ranch at a later date.
