Jimmy Doyle Johnson, age 84 of Seguin, Tx, passed away on June 16, 2026. Jimmy was born in Etowah, Arkansas on November 24, 1941, to Stella Jane (Dixon) and Gurry Horice Johnson.
Jimmy enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and woodworking. He was a devoted green bay packer fan and enjoyed the games each time they played. his faith was the foundation of his life, and he found great joy in leading bible studies and leading many to faith in Christ. He was a devoted husband who deeply loved and adored his wife, Jackie. They married in their teens. They would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on July 2, 2026. Together they built a beautiful life that will always be treasured.
He also adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every opportunity to spend time with them, and celebrating their lives.
He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, kind heart and devotion not only to his family, but to many friends, with encouragement, humor and so much love. He walked his faith.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his son, Dana, his parents, his siblings, Thomas Johnson, Margaret Imagene (Louis Gene) Hayes, Gurry (Lenay) Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jacquelyn; his children, Victoria (Christoffer) Kulvik, Jennifer (Dean) Spahr ; his grandchildren, Joshua (Katie) Kaddatz, Zachary (Amy) Kaddatz, Megan (Joe Zumpano) Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Christianna (Gabe Mendoza) Alcorta, Emeris (Kenny Karsten) Johnson, Adam Alcorta, Elise Kulvik, Caleigh Alcorta, Rebecca Johnson, Jacob Alcorta, Tyson Aguilar, David Alcorta, Jackson Johnson, and Anna (Tony) Acciari; great-grandchildren, Mia, Kaden, Berkeley, Brynnley, Briggs, and Brooks Kaddatz; his sister; Annie Bailey; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at the Proko funeral home in Kenosha WI. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 1 p.m. with the reverend Wayne Bielgard officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, WI.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the family.
