Joan Marie Bright, age 75 of Seguin, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 18, 2010. Private services will be held at a later date. Joan was born in Peoria, Illinois on July 8, 1935 to Wilmert Wilder and Grace Marie Hedstrom Rhodenbaugh. Her parents and her sisters, Jean Davis and Maxine Dorman preceded her in death. Survivors include her loving husband John Michael Bright; daughters, Judith L. Bright and Susan M. Bohmler and husband Steve; son, Kenneth Michael Bright; grandchildren, Kenny Gipson and wife Jessica, Kary Gipson and wife Jennifer, Brent Robinson, Stephanie Bohmler and Taylor Bright; great-grandchildren, Trey, Garrett, Juliana, Kaden and Karleigh; numerous nieces, nephews and many loving neighbors and friends. The family wishes to thank all the nurses who lovingly took care of Joan, especially "Nurse Nancy". Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
