Joan Villalon Espinoza, age 64 of Seguin, Texas passed away May 19, 2022. Joan was born on January 28, 1958 in Seguin, Texas to Arnulfo and Margarita Villalon.

Joan resided in McQueeney, Texas throughout her childhood years. Later her family moved to Seguin where she attended Ball Jr. High and Seguin High School. She later completed her GED and was a certified Cosmetologist.

Joan was baptized, received confirmation and communion at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Seguin, Texas. Joan was a hard working woman that held lead positions at companies such as Holly Farms, Dell, Motorola, Caterpillar, and HB Zachary where she later retired after 15 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnulfo and Margarita E. Villalon. Joan leaves behind the love of her life Epimeno Chavez, Jr.;  children, Glenda Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor (Roy Perkins Jr.) and Charles Dwayne (Beatriz) Taylor, II; step-son; Epimeno "DD" (Katelyn) Chavez, III; grandchildren, Sierra (Ricardo) Rios, Jordan A. Gonzales, Zachary Taylor, M'Kayla Taylor, Ivrin Taylor, Ka'siyha Taylor, Priestlyn Holmes, Roy Perkins III "Poppy," Epimeno Chavez, IV, Maria, Anastacia, Robert and Maricela; 8 great grandchildren, sisters Bettie (Jerry) Medina, Rosie (Cruz) Medina, Margaret (Cynthia Sanchez) Villalon, Arlene (Terrance, Sr.) Harris, Pamela Villalon, Lisa Saenz and Jacqueline Villalon; brother, Douglas Villalon and her furry "Babies", Precious, Harley "The Boy", Chica and Baby.

Joan loved trips to the beach, red lipstick, elephant collectibles and she loved her dogs very much.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin on Saturday June 4, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with the Minister David Galvan officiating.

Following Funeral service food will be provided for family and friends at Max Starke Park (West) "The Bowl Pavilion" 600 River Dr W Seguin, TX 78155
