John Andrew Chaffee, Jr., age 51 of Seguin, passed away on March 14, 2012. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Robert K. Odom officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. John was born on December 11, 1960 in East Liverpool, Ohio to John Arthur Chaffee, Sr. and Jewel Madeline Diamond Jahns. His father preceded him in death. Survivors include wife of 26 years Gloria Chaffee; son, Eric Garcia and girlfriend Kelly Bailey; daughter, Heather Chaffee; grandson, Caden Joshua Garcia; mother, Jewel Jahns and husband Lawrence (Tuffy); brothers, Glenn Chaffee and wife Pam, and Douglas Chaffee-Villeneuve and partner Jeffrey Villeneuve; father-in-law and mother-in- law, Felipe and Eloisa Aguirre; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Serving as honorary pall bearers will be, Dennis Malm, Hank Dietert, Gary Duncan, Eulogio Garcia, Terry Carnes, David Galvan, Jeff Timpson, Felipe Aguirre, Paul Nastasi, Victor Magallanes, and Travis Pierce.
