John D. Mullins, Sr., age 77 of Seguin, passed away on September 1, 2013. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11 a. m. at Tree of Life Church in New Braunfels with Pastor Don Duncan officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. John was born on June 7, 1936 in Great Bend Kansas to John Mylan and Mary Rosalie Montgomery Mullins. He proudly served his country as a Marine. John will be remembered as part of the Plumbing Department at Home Depot in Seguin. He cherished his time with his family especially his wife, children and grandchildren and he also enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sally Stanfield Mullins and his daughter, Stephanie Mullins. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Janelle Mullins, his children, John Mullns, Jr. and wife Christine, Craig Mullins and wife Amber, Amy Mullins-Hill, Elizabeth Mullins, Katy Adams, and Mary Willard; brother, Robert Mullins and wife Connie; 17 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. John loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and now rests with him. Memorial contributions may be made to Tree of Life Church, 5513 IH 35 S., New Braunfels, Texas, 78132.
