Johnny Martin McDonald, age 67 of Seguin, passed away on December 4, 2018. A memorial service celebrating Johnny's life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, New Braunfels, with Rev. Brad McLean officiating. Johnny was born on September 16, 1951 in New Braunfels, Texas to Jack McDonald and Annie Hassler McDonald. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Johnny worked for the Symon's Corporation for 47 years in New Braunfels, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Mitzi McDonald; children, Jennifer McMurray and husband Michael, Seth Bruton and wife Nicole, Emilie Rhoades and husband Jonathan, Andrew Bruton, and Tim Bruton; grandchildren, Sean, Natalie, and Ethan McMurray, and Levi, Zachary, and Aida Joy Rhoades; brothers, Jack McDonald and Davy McDonald; sisters, Karen McDonald and Mary Lou McDonald; nieces, Sabrina McDonald, Danielle Rosales and Kristen Rosales; numerous other loving family members and many friends.
