Jose R. Davila, age 73 of Seguin, passed away on July 2, 2023.  Jose was born on June 9, 1950, in Seguin, Texas, to Antonia (Revilla) and Jose Davila, Sr.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Frank Tagle, Ismael Davila, Guadalupe Betancourt, Maria Amador, and Josefina Tristan.

Survivors include his son, Joey Davila, and wife Chasity Long; daughter, Danica Wiginton; grandchildren, Chloe, Lyric, and Gunner Davila; siblings, Manuel Davila and wife Linda, Daniel Davila and wife Estella, Rey Davila and wife Teresa, Ester Davila, Minerva Nieto and husband Robert, Oralia Johnson and husband Ted, Felis Banda, Dominga Tristan, Consuelo Coronado, and Matias Davila; former spouses and dear friends, Marianne Pacheo and Rose Marie Alvarez; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel.  Private interment will be held at a later date.
