Jose "Joe" Sanchez Lomas

Jose “Joe” Sanchez Lomas, age 83 of Seguin, Texas, formerly of Stockton California, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. Jose was born on December 9, 1942, in Blanco, Texas to Francisca (Sanchez) and Adolfo Lomas.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, John Lomas, Sr., Adolfo Lomas, Jr., and Chris Lomas, Sr., and grandson, Nicholas Awan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Sally Lomas; children, Jose Lomas, II and wife Myong, and Dannette Lomas, and Bernice Martinez; grandchildren, Jose Lomas, III, Joe Ruiz, Crystal Mora, and Manuel “Jr.” Bolanos, Terrah Lomas, Raymond Lomas, Arianna Lomas, Julissa Lomas, Emiliano Lomas-Lopez, Jose Lomas-Lopez, and Rigo Lopez; siblings, Connie Amador, Lily Hernandez, Raul Lomas, Sr., Adam Lomas and Manuel Leos; He also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
