Joseph Maurice Beaulieu, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on April 14, 2016. A recitation of the rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10:00 am followed by the mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory J. Nevlud officiating and military honors. Private interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. Joseph was born on December 20, 1931 in Sheridan, Maine to Vetal V. and Hazel (Duprey) Beaulieu. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Florida Griffith and Bertha Lawson, and brothers, Joel Donald Beaulieu and Raymond Beaulieu. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Mildred Beaulieu of Seguin, Texas; three daughters, Desiree Huffman and husband Rob of Seguin, Texas, Susan Cote and husband Anthony of Bulverde, Texas, and Brenda Beaulieu and partner, Elton of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Joseph Beaulieu Jr. and partner Helen Bunker of Heartland, Maine, and Michael Beaulieu of Ashland, Maine; brother William Beaulieu of Glastonbury, Conn; 18 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
