Joseph Anthony Garcia, age 36 of Seguin, passed away on March 17, 2011. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel, Monday, March 21, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. for the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Santo Tomas Cemetery. Joseph was born in Seguin, Texas on February 19, 1975 to Leslie (Les) and Oralia Perez Garcia. He will be remembered as a long time employee of Continental. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward (Eddie) Garcia and sister, Mary Inelda Garcia. Survivors include his brother, Gabriel Garcia and wife Janie; sister, Chris Garcia; niece, Nicole Garcia Rios and fiancé Lucio Arocha; nephew, Joseph Noel Garcia and girlfriend, Amanda Montoya; great-nephew, Jeremiah Daniel Rios; great niece, Savannah Nichole Rios; beloved dog, RRRICO; numerous other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Noel Garcia, Lucio Arocha, Velia Mesa, Henry Soto, Gena Rodriguez and Jonathan Rodriguez.
