Joseph Martin Hernandez

Joseph Martin Hernandez, age 46 of Seguin, passed away on June 6, 2026. Joseph was born on April 30, 1980, in Seguin, Texas to Mary Villanueva Hernandez and Pedro Hernandez.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Pedro, his sister, Eva H. Tovar, and his brother, Peter A. Hernandez.

Survivors include his daughter, Gabrielle Hernandez and partner, Marco Salazar; son, Christopher Cardenas; grandchildren, Amelia Salazar and Malachi Salazar; mother, Mary Hernandez; sister Julie H. Rivas and husband, Guillermo; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marcus Avalos officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Cardenas, Marco Salazar, Paul Cortez, John McHaney, Alan McHaney, Jesse Hernandez, Derek Sanchez, James Hernandez, Andrew Salazar and Luis Salazar.
