Joseph David "Joe" Adcock, age 63 of Seguin passed away on October 19, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at McQueeney Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Knott officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Joe was born on June 28, 1951 in Seguin, Texas to Calvin Reuben and Norma Jane (Johnston) Adcock. Joe was a member of McQueeney Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and loved spending cherished time with his family. For 16 years he worked for Colorado Materials. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs Fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma Joyce Hastings, and brother, Calvin F. (Sonny) Adcock. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Dianne Bailey Adcock; son, Joseph Paul Adcock; daughter, Laura Ann Moore and husband Michael; grandchildren, William Winston Moore, Nathaniel Michael Moore, Anthony David Moore and Abigail Roxanne Moore; sisters, Ellen Blanch, Betty Markgraf, Alice Heinemeyer and husband Doug, and Viola Blanch and husband, Hugh; brothers-in-law, Bobby J. Hastings and wife, Jo, and Eddie Bailey, and Cecil Bailey; sisters-in-law, Patsy Burris, Kathy Bailey and Penny Bailey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
