Joseph Angel Sanchez Jr.

Joseph Angel Sanchez, Jr., age 25 of Seguin, passed away on November 3, 2026. He was born on February 15, 2001 in Seguin, Texas, to Joseph Rene Sanchez and Suzanna Villareal.

Joseph was a 2019 graduate of Seguin High School and was currently attending Texas Lutheran University where he was studying psychology. Outside of his studies, Joseph enjoyed working out at the gym, gaming, and eating at and critiquing any new restaurant in Seguin and the surrounding area. Favorite times were spent with his family, friends and his beloved cats.

Joseph is survived by his father, Joseph Sanchez; mother, Suzanna Villareal; brother, Joshua Sanchez; grandparents, Gloria Gonzales, Diane Sanchez, and Stephen Villareal; beloved friend, Mason Bishop; several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Joseph’s life will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Abiding Presence at Texas Lutheran University with the Reverend Wes Cain officiating. A reception will follow.
