Josiah Aiden Hernandez, age 13, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2023.  He was born on May 1, 2010 in Seguin, Texas to Rebekah Serna Hernandez and Arturo Hernandez.  Josiah was an 8th grader at Navarro Jr. High School.  He enjoyed playing football and running track.  With his outgoing personality and never meeting a stranger, Josiah felt everyone he came in contact with was his best friend.  Weekend barbecues with the family were the Best!

Josiah is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Hernandez, Sr.

Survivors include his loving mother, Rebekah Hernandez; loving father, Arturo Hernandez; brothers, Gabriel Hernandez and Ivan Hernandez; grandmothers, Catherine Hazur and Petra Hernandez; aunts and uncles, Brooks Serna and wife Patrice, Bain Serna, Hannah Alexander and husband Will Beaman, Jessica Sada, Jose Hernandez and Aida Hernandez; numerous cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Living Waters Church at 10 a.m. with Pastor Paul Mason officiating.  Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Josiah will be remembered for his loving, golden heart that he lived to give.  He is loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.
