Anita Joyce Woodward, age 85 of Rockport, Texas, formerly of Seguin, Texas, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on January 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating. Graveside service and Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Joyce was born December 12, 1930 to Eddie Bilderback and Pearl E. McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Charles Woodward. Joyce is survived by her sister, Pat Elswick and husband Dudley; her twin daughters Beth and Brenda, Sherryl and Beverly; her son Marshall and his wife Jimmie Lou; grandchildren Roxanne, Garland and Rose, and Allison; great-grandchildren Kaylee, Kaleb, Travis, Robby, and Wesley; her long lost but found cousin Pastor Ed Bilderback and his wife Paulette, her beloved pet dog, Molly, as well as many other family members, friends, and her church family at First Baptist Church in Seguin. The family would like to thank everyone who took care of our precious and loving mother; her doctors, hospice in Seguin, and in Rockport, as well as her care givers Rose and De'Ann. Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Flint, Michael Brandon Helmke, Paul Schelnick, Lanny Tucker, Gary Kinard, Patrick Charlton, and Travis McNew.
