Juan F. Mendoza, age 75 of Seguin, passed away on November 11, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 beginning at 6 pm with the recitation of the rosary at 7 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A private interment will follow. Juan was born on September 14, 1941 in Guadalupe County to Juan Landin and Julia (Fernandez) Mendoza, who precede him in death. Juan honorably served his country in the United Sates Army alongside his brother Lee, who precedes him in death. Juan is survived by his brother Gabriel Mendoza and wife, Irene; sister, Mary Medina and husband, Porfirio, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.
