Juana C. Perez, age 78 of Seguin, passed away on April 18, 2021. Juana was born on May 13, 1942 in Sabinal, Texas to Maria (Mendez) and Manuel R. Castillo.

Juana is preceded in death by her parents, first born son, Ernest; sisters, Juliana Perez, Catalina Gonzales, Mary Juarez, Rebecca Trevino and Stephanie Martinez.

Survivors include daughters, Belinda (Domingo) Alvarez, Grace (Lynn) Kraft, Teresa (Mario) Leal, Rachel (Alex) Ramirez, Delia Perez and Patricia (Ronnie) Morales, son; Ernest (Elizabeth) Perez, loving nephew who she admired as a son, James Medrano; loving goddaughter, Barbara Gamez; sisters, Candelaria Martinez, Vera Rhodes, Margaret Arce, Minerva Medrano, Virginia Seiler, Mary Ann Harter, Ester Cardenas; brother, Joe Castillo; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A walk- through line visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m.  A private family recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Doming Alvarez, III., Jacob Alvarez, Joel Leal, Edward Gonzales, Felix Gonzales, Trey Gonzales, Michael Herrera, Jimmy Garcia, Joseph Garcia; honorary pallbearers, James Medrano, Ethan Perez, Tano Valdez and Jordan Leal.
