Juanita Aguilar, age 47 of Seguin, passed away on October 6, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.  Juanita was born on April 6, 1973 in San Miguel De Allende in Guanajato, Mexico to Catalina (Barrera) and Armando Acosta.  She will be remembered as a longtime employee of the Navarro Independent School District where she enjoyed working with those children in special education programs.  She also enjoyed taking drives throughout the countryside and working alongside her husband on all his projects.  Her most cherished time was spent with family, especially doting on her ten grandchildren.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fernando Acosta.  Survivors include her loving husband, Luis Aguilar, Sr.; children, Luis Aguilar, Jr. and wife Renae, Juana Gonzalez and husband Miguel, and Charles Aguilar and wife Georgia; grandchildren who knew and loved her as "Grandma", Zayden, D'Angelo, Damion, Elias, Julian Brady, Adrien, Nathaniel, Evelynn, Monroe and Messiah; nephew, Fernando Acosta; father-in-law, Nicolas Aguilar; numerous cousins, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2 p.m. followed by funeral service at 3 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel.  Private interment will be held at a later date.  All CDC protocols must be followed including proper social distancing and face coverings worn
