Julia Retiz Shellberg, age 91 of San Antonio, formerly of Luling, passed away on November 15, 2024.  Julia was born on September 26, 1933 in Luling, Texas to Ysabel (Gonzales) and Gilberto Retiz.

Julia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Simon Si Shellberg, her daughter, Sandra Ann Amaya, her parents, and two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Ida Honan, Irma Lynn Cook and Joy Ellen Nance; several grandchildren and other loving family members.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Luling City Cemetery in Luling, Texas.
