Julie Ann Dunn, age 61 of Poth, passed away on June 27, 2022.  Julie was born on July 27, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to Charlene (Druckhammer) Tiemann and Howard Wagner.

Julie was a 1977 graduate of Round Rock High School.  She attended Texas Lutheran College (TLU) and received her Bachelor's Degree and later attended Texas A & I in Kingsville (Texas A & M) where she received her Master's Degree.  Julie will be remembered as a coach, teacher and administrator in many schools in Wilson, Karnes and Gonzales Counties.  She retired from education as Principal at Falls City High School.  Julie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Denhawken.

Julie enjoyed traveling, cooking, all sports and sporting events and a fine glass of wine.

Julie is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Peter C. Dunn; daughter, Tara Dunn; son, Heath Dunn; brother, Jeff Wagner and wife Leslie; birth mother, Marjorie Smith and husband Morley; step-mother, Sandi Wagner; numerous other loving family members and many friends and students who will miss her.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St John's Lutheran Church, 3778 State Highway 119 , Stockdale, Texas 78160, followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Rudy Salazar, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, 1520 E. Westmeyer Street, Poth, Texas 78147.  Serving as pallbearers will be David Wehmeyer, Todd Pawelek, Lee Lansford, Josh Stegemoller, Jeremy Stegemoller and Cody Wagner.
