Julio Astran Rodriguez, Sr., age 70 of Seguin, passed away on January 29, 2025.  Julio was born in Seguin, Texas, on July 4, 1954 to Rufina (Astran) and Pedro Rodriguez, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Rodriguez, Sr. and mother, Rufina Ramirez, brothers, Roy Young, Frailan Young, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr. and Gilbert Rodriguez, and his sisters, Gregoria Astran and Marina Gonzales.

Survivors include his wife Lilia Rodriguez; sons, Julio Rodriguez, Jr. ( Mandi), and Jacob Rodriguez (Hope); daughter and his beloved "Princess", Jillian Rose Rodriguez (Eddie); brothers, Robert Young, Sr. (Yolanda) and Jesse Celaya, Sr.; sisters, Aurora Aguilar (David), Josie Ramos, Elvira Solis, Dalia Gomez (Rudy), and Mary Ann Rodriguez; grandchildren, Julyssa, Jacob, Jr., Jonathan, Jayden, Ari, Jarren, Jay J, Jayson, Jenise, and Jacoby; seven great-grandchildren; special niece, Monica Molina; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
