June Nell Heideke, age 82 of Seguin, passed away on April 25, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Cross Church with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. June Nell was born on June 30, 1932 in Seguin Texas to Edwin J and Ruby (Larison) Neuse. A lifetime resident of Seguin, June will be remembered as an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and of Cross Church, as well as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. After her retirement from A T & T, June had many good times dancing, quilting with her club, and her numerous get togethers with her Seguin Classmates. June especially loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Heideke; her parents; brothers, Marvin Neuse, Edwin "Dutch" Neuse; and sister, Mary Neuse Bond. She is survived by her son Joel Heideke; daughters Janice Schievelbein and husband Tim, and Joy Baumann and husband John; grandchildren, Tyler Heideke, Danielle Schievelbein and Victor Benavides; Randall Schievelbein, Hannah Schievelbein, Mason Baumann and Madison Baumann; great-granddaughter Haley Benavides; brother, Raymond Neuse; sister, Ruby Hurt; sister-in-law, Barbara Batey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives relatives, and many friends.
