Karen “Katie” McLean, age 80 of Seguin, passed away on February 5, 2026. Katie was born on February 18, 1945, in Austin, Texas, to Bettie (Schutze) and William McLean.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Dieter Von Schramm and wife Jessica; longtime friend, John Germann; other family members and friends.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Boecker Cemetery.
