Katherine Hazel Aubel Braulick, of Seguin passed away on July 17, 2012. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary, Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11 a. m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery. Katherine was born on May 29, 1926 in Seguin to Henry and Margaret Brownrigg Aubel. She married Paulus Braulick on June 14, 1947 at Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin. She was an active member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin where she was in the choir and active in the ELCA Women group. She was a secretary at Jefferson Avenue Elementary for 24 years until she retired in 1990. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Los Nogales Garden Club, the Seguin Delphian Study Club, and an active member in the Seguin Silver Center. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paulus Braulick; grandson, Jaison Braulick; sister, Bess Templin; brothers, Henry Aubel, Hilmar Aubel and Clarence Aubel; brother-in-law, Erwin Templin and sister-in-law, Ann Aubel. Survivors include her son, James Braulick and wife Wendy of Austin; companion, Dr. Bob Pape of Seguin; sisters-in-law, Doris Aubel of Garland, Edith Flathmann of West St. Paul, MN and Georgia Braulick of Northfield, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Branch, Ken Broughton, Rusty Reininger, Tom Branch, Gregg Sapp and Ra Mac Richter. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel's Lutheran Church, 206 N.
