Kathy L. Reneau, age 55 of Seguin, passed away on September 28, 2009. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Assembly of God Church with Pastor Don Wiehe and Pastor Bobby Nixon officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Kathy was born on August 1, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska to Edward Charles, Jr. and Margaret Emily Holst Page. Kathy was the San Antonio Section Missionettes coordinator for years. She owned and operated her own daycare business in Seguin. Her love of children was evidenced by her works in the missionettes, church, daycare and schools. Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Kenneth Ray Reneau and her mother, Margie Page and brother, Donald Page. Survivors include her son, Justin Reneau; daughter, Desiree Morris and husband Bobby; father, Edward C. Page, Jr.; sisters, Bonnie Benitez and husband, Hector and Diana Price; brothers, Albert Page and wife, Diane, Edward Page, III and wife, Dolores and Richard Page and wife, Donita; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J. W. (Buddy) and Dorothy Reneau; sister-in-law, Wanda Grimm and husband, Arno; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank her nephew, Jason Benitez, the staff of Guadalupe Valley Nursing Center, Dr. Phil Rinn and his staff and the Hillcrest Assembly of God Church family for their loving care, kindness and prayers.
