Obituary

Kenneth Ray Reneau, affectionately known as "Bobo", age 60 of Seguin, passed away on August 26, 2009. Friends may visit at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Friday, August 28, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. and the family will receive friends at Hillcrest Assembly of God Church at a viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Assembly of God Church with Pastor Don Wiehe, Rev.Bob Flowers and Rev. Elbert Smart officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Kenneth was born on August 7, 1949 in Seguin, Texas to J. W. "Buddy" and Dorothy Lucille Smith Reneau. He graduated from Seguin High School in 1969. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked in the Reneau Poultry family business and also spent many happy hours working at the Seguin Cattle Company. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy Reneau; son Justin Reneau; daughter, Desiree Morris and her husband, Bobby; parents, J. W. "Buddy" and Dorothy Reneau; sister, Wanda Grimm and her husband, Arno; niece, Robin Westbrook and her husband, Mark; nephew, Dr. Brandon Grimm and his wife, Melissa; great nephew, Toby Grimm; a host of other loving family members and friends. The Reneau family appreciates the loving and kind generosity of The Seguin Cattle Company, Hillcrest Assembly of God Church, Guadalupe Regional Hospice and the entire community for their care, support and love of Kenneth.
