Kenneth Roy Scholl, age 64 of Seguin, passed away on November 29, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Seguin with Rev. Andy Smith and Rev. Ron Welborn officiating and with military honors. A reception will follow in Hierholzer Hall. Kenneth was born on December 2, 1950 in San Antonio Texas to Martha Lea Dietert Scholl Ranft and Randolph Ray Scholl and was the second oldest of seven. He was a 1969 graduate of Seguin High School. He proudly served his country as a Radioman in the United States Navy in Iceland during the Vietnam War. He worked in many different departments at Motorola in Seguin. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, John Ranft and his loving granddaughter Magnolia Castro who is holding his hand in heaven. Survivors include his children, Mark Anthony Scholl and wife Stacie, and Tracy Gayle Castro and husband Leonard; his grandchildren, Taylor Scholl, Sheldon Scholl, Hunter Grimsley, and Hagen Castro; siblings, William Scholl and wife Pat, Lyndon Scholl, Dennis Ranft and wife Rhonda, JD Ranft and wife Terry, Diane Syamken and husband David, and George Ranft and wife Sandy; aunts, Bernice Tschoepe, Gloria Reininger, Avis Banks, Shirley Scholl, Betty Ann McLean; uncles, Madison Scholl and wife Janet, and Merton Scholl and wife Linda; his former wife, mother of his children and friend, Betty Lou Kannard; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Scholl, Leonard Castro, Sheldon Scholl, Hunter Grimsley, Hagen Castro, and John Kannard.
