Kevin Wayne Taft, age 49 passed away July 8, 2017 in McQueeney. Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Private Services and Interment will be held at later date. Kevin was born July 30, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas to Lavern Erwin and Sue Ellen (Thuleen) Taft. He worked as a computer programmer/analyst at US District Courts-Western District and previously worked for Guadalupe County as a guard. He was an avid automotive mechanic and enjoyed outdoors as well as music. He preceded in death by his father Lavern Erwin Taft and sisters Kimberly Stange and Tamera Taft. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Taft; sons, Shawn Taft, Jason Taft and Koen Taft; mother, Sue Ellen Taft and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
